Taylor & Derek's Wedding Film at Pickett Place, Florence, AL

Before Taylor ever walks the aisle at Pickett Place, she has three first looks: first her dad, then Derek, and finally her bridesmaids. It sets the tone for the whole day, which turns out to be less about one big moment and more about a lot of small ones with the people who matter most.

When she and Derek see each other, they say their vows in private before they ever say them in front of everyone. In one of their letters, there's a line about going home after the first date and already knowing.

After the ceremony, the evening slows down. There's golden hour, and a quiet dinner for just the two of them, before the dances begin: Taylor and Derek, then Taylor with her dad, Taylor with her mom, and Derek with his mom.

We were there for all of it, and now it's theirs to keep.
